Consultations may be conducted in person or virtually, allowing us to gain a clear understanding of the property and its potential.

Ideas are introduced, discussed, and refined to ensure the design reflects your vision while maximizing the opportunities of the site. Troy prefers to guide clients through a series of manageable phases, creating a thoughtful and enjoyable experience from concept to completion.

Consultation Fee

A consultation fee is required and reflects the time, expertise, and ideas shared during the consultation process. Fees are determined based on several factors, including:
- Project complexity
- Property location
- Distance to and from the project site
- Scope and demands of the project
- Property age and existing conditions
- Site opportunities and challenges
- Time required to thoroughly evaluate all aspects of the property
Prior to scheduling a consultation, a simple one-page consultation agreement is provided for review and acceptance.
Should a client choose to engage Troy Bankord Design for landscape or interior design services, the consultation fee will be credited toward the design fee. This allows prospective clients to begin with a consultation and then continue seamlessly into design development, project oversight, implementation, construction coordination, and/or ongoing property management services as desired.
